I love Easter!
I’m not sure if it’s because of Spring in the air, or the fact that I love to have potluck at my daddy’s with all of my sisters. Of course, watching all the kiddos looking for Easter Eggs is always the highlight of the day!
Being the baby of the siblings, I usually am the last in getting a say in my menu choices. My sisters take the easy, no brainer dishes and that means that I’m left to coming up with something classic but with a twist.
This year I decided to go with the fail- proof deviled eggs, but I thought why not spice it up a bit. That’s when I decided on Southwest Bacon Ranch Deviled Eggs!
Everybody can use a little spice in their life, Right?
Deviled eggs are a staple food at any Southern get-together. I grew up standing in the kitchen watching my momma make a platter for family reunions and bbq’s. These Southwest Bacon Ranch Deviled Eggs definitely aren’t my momma’s recipe, but I do believe she would approve 100%!!
And yes, I use fresh eggs from my hens!
Don’t they just look lovely in pictures?
