Have you ever just had one of those days? You feel like you’re rushing and rushing around all day and you wonder how in the world you’ll find the time to make dinner for the family that day. You really don’t want to spend the money going out to eat, either. That’s why I love this Shrimp and Pasta Primavera recipe. I feel like I’ve gone out to a nice restaurant when I eat it.
I’ve always been a fan of getting dinner on the table with little to no work. I mean, I used to always make my husband spaghetti every week for dinner, much to his dismay. What I didn’t really think through though, is that I could be eating gourmet type food that kids will LOVE. AND, I can get it ready in about 20 minutes! This Shrimp and Pasta Primavera Recipe is just as easy as putting on a pot of jarred spaghetti. The only difference, is I’m sautéing a few vegetables first.

Shrimp and Pasta Primavera Recipe
First, I chop my vegetables and begin sautéing them.
Then, I begin boiling the Barilla Penne pasta.

Once the veggies were sautéed, I added my shrimp, added a teaspoon of Basil, so that it evenly coated the shrimp and vegetables and then I drained the pasta and added it to the skillet.
I stirred in the Barilla Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce, which is a great-tasting sauce that I found at Walmart. This sauce is even made with all GMO It gave the Shrimp and Pasta Primavera Recipe the ultimate flavor!
Once all the sauce was stirred in, I sprinkled mozzarella cheese all over it, because who can have enough cheese, anyway?
It’s so simple and so delicious, my kids devoured it quickly. They always think they’re getting spoiled when they have shrimp or when they have pasta. Put the two together and they think they’re eating in heaven!
