Instant Pot Apple Cider is a Delicious and Easy Way to Capture the Flavors of Fall! It Is Ready in Minutes and Is the Perfect Drink to Serve Friends and Family.

We love Instant Pot recipes! They’re so quick and convenient. Some of our favorites include Instant Pot Apple Pork Chops and Instant Pot Sweet Potatoes. (By the way, both of these would go amazingly well with my apple cider recipe!)

INSTANT POT APPLE CIDER

Apple Cider is kind of a necessity at our house, especially this time of year. It’s just so good, and now, it’s really easy to make! By using your Instant Pot, you can have warm, delicious apple cider ready to go in just minutes. It’s perfect for a quiet family afternoon or a holiday get-together!

CAN I MAKE APPLE CIDER FROM SCRATCH?

A lot of apple cider recipes call for you to buy a gallon of cider and warm it up with various ingredients. With my recipe, you can make the apple cider yourself!

You won’t be slaving away over it all day, either…with your Instant Pot, you can go from apples and spices to apple cider in no time!

WHAT TYPE OF APPLES SHOULD I USE?

That’s the fun part: you can use any type of apples you like! You can customize your cider according to what your family prefers.

Some people swear by Granny Smith apples because of how tart they are, but I decided to go with Gala Apples because they were cheap and they worked out perfectly!  Keep in mind though, if you like a really tart Apple Cider, go with the tartest of apples!

Do you want to try a few different combinations of apples? Go right ahead! Instant Pot Apple Cider is so easy and quick to make that you can make a few batches to enjoy!

HOW SHOULD I STORE INSTANT POT APPLE CIDER?

Because this apple cider has no preservatives, you will want to keep it refrigerated and use it within a week or so. It’s delicious on its own, but you can also use it in so many ways!

Family Happenings From our Family of 9!

This past weekend, my 18 year old daughter was testing for her 2nd degree Black Belt.  We’re with a really neat Karate Organization and I caught this photo of them praying before the test began.  My daughter is the girl on the far left with the dark brown hair.  She got her 2nd degree belt and did an amazing job on the test!

Do you have a recipe that would use the apple pulp?

I just wondered if you have to cut or peel the apples, or do you put them in whole?

Hi Beckie. I just adjusted the recipe, but what I did was I removed all of the seeds and cut them into small to medium sized chunks. That way once they’re really cooked down, they are easy to push through to get the juice out of the pulp. I hope that helps! 🙂

Thank you so much! As a special needs mommy these recipes have helped us so much.   I often am very busy with being a nurse for our child that I don't have time for making sure we get meals.  This allows me to do all my prep on the weekends, while my husband is home to help, and to cook during the week.  So grateful!

Sarah’s Freezer to Slow Cooker ebooks have been a fantastic addition to my meal plans.  They make meal planning easy and my family happy. I love the way each recipe is laid out, with a shopping list and ingredient prep list, along with cooking instructions. Sarah’s done all the hard work for me!  The recipes have used have all been delicious and easily adaptable to my family’s taste and the number of people I’m serving.

I purchased all of your freezer to slow cooker ebooks a month or so ago and I'm in love with this way of cooking.  I now have taken all 10 weeks of recipes and written them of my menu planner and then I repeated the 10 weeks and will continue to do so throughout the year.  My family of 5 adults and 1 child enjoy the meals that you have planned and I have cooked and I'm excited that the next time when that meal comes due up in the rotation I won't have to purchase anything but just pull it from the freezer.  Thank you so much

This makes my life so much easier. I'm a busy work at home/stay at home mom, wife, business woman and I feel like dinner is always the thing I just never get time to do. We have done like 15 of the crockpot recipes from Sarah and they are all very yummy. They get a thumbs up from my husband and kids every time. And there is always enough for my husband to take the left overs at least 2x per recipe. I have a family of 5, 2 adults, 21, 13, 16. So it makes plenty. Thank you Sarah.

I am a 59-year-old wife and mother of two grown children.  I love your idea of fixing a lot of meals ahead of time and then pulling one out, put it in the crockpot, and you have dinner when you get home.  I hate feeling rushed when I cook so Monday - Friday I use those crockpot meals and make enough that we have lunch the next day.  I take Sunday afternoon, fix up what I need for the week (I don't have a lot of freezer space so I do a week's worth at a time) and I'm done with it!  Saturdays I like to try new recipes from some of my cookbooks which I am finding I can freeze as well!  So you have shown me a whole new way to organize my time and still put a healthy meal on the table.  Thanks so much and I look forward to future blogs.
