Chicken has gotten to the point where it’s actually cheaper to eat than beef. It’s pretty sad, isn’t it? I remember when you could get ground beef for 99 cents a pound, but chicken was still closer to $2 per pound.
I don’t know about you, but I’m a huge fan of eating dishes made with chicken breast. I love how easy it is to cook it in the slow cooker. I tend to make it easy on myself and buy the frozen, boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the 3 or 5 pound bags in the freezer section. Sometimes, I cook it straight from frozen and other times I thaw it out in the microwave. Either way, it cooks up nicely in the slow cooker…and there’s lots of great dishes you can make with it!
Need ways to use up that leftover Thanksgiving Turkey? Many of these recipes will work well!
