CROCK POT BAKED ZITI RECIPE
Ok, technically this recipe isn’t “baked” ziti. It’s all done in the crock pot, which makes it much easier on you! It sure tastes like it has been simmering away in the oven, though. Serve it and watch your family clamor for me.
DOES THE PASTA REALLY COOK IN THE CROCKPOT?
This is one of my favorite things about this recipe! The pasta cooks right in the crock pot, and the result is so delicious. It tastes so much like the oven version, but it’s so much easier! Everything just comes together and the flavors have time to develop. Crock Pot Baked Ziti is one of our family favorites!
WHAT SHOULD I SERVE WITH YOUR CROCK POT BAKED ZITI RECIPE?
Because this dish has so much flavor (and it’s really pretty hearty), I would recommend serving it with a salad. It would also go well with some simple roasted or steamed vegetables!
WILL CROCK POT BAKED ZITI FREEZE WELL?
Yet another wonderful thing about this recipe – it freezes so well! Because pasta tends to dry out a bit in the freezer, I would recommend adding some sauce when you thaw it. You will have delicious ziti ready to thaw, heat, and eat!

Happenings From Our Family of 9
We recently took the kids to a festival where they made corn meal from whole corn still on the cob. My youngest decided it would be great to take some of the cobs home for fall decorations. So she decided to fill her pockets with corn cobs! Can you see how proud she is?
