I know. It must seem weird to make a steak marinade recipe for either the grill or the slow cooker, doesn’t it? Well, I did make the Chicken Fajitas that way, too, remember? What happened is, my house got hot. Really, really hot, thanks to this 100 degree July. I wasn’t even sure if I wanted the heat from the slow cooker going on in there. But, then again, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go outside to grill. LOL. I don’t sound indecisive at all, do I?
For this particular meal, we opted for the grill, because I really love grilled steak. Cooking it in the slow cooker, would make it amazingly tender with tons of taste, but it was REALLY good on the grill as well. Are you ready for the incredibly easy recipe?

Instructions:
- Place all ingredients, including meat in a one gallon sized freezer safe bag.
- Mix together well.
3. Get all the air out of the bag and lay flat to freeze.
4. Either marinate overnight, or place it in the freezer, being sure to get it out the night before you plan to cook it.
5. On cooking day, either cook it on low in the slow cooker for 7-8 hours OR fire up your grill around dinner time and cook them to your preferred taste. (We prefer well done and yes, I know all of the arguments as to why we shouldn’t eat it that way…haha)

PS: A lot of you are asking what that green thingamajig stand is, it’s called a Jokari Hands-Free Baggy Rack Storage Bag Holder. I use it a lot when preparing freezer meals if you’ve noticed. It’s like I have extra hands!

What about the slow cooker and then just a couple minutes on high heat on the grill?

I would have never thought to cook a steak in the slow cooker but this steak was amazing that way! Thank you so much for such a great marinade recipe! It would taste great on either the grill or the slow cooker.
