This weekend, we had a surprise birthday party for my oldest child, who will be turning 18 this week. He is one of those kids who LOVES bacon. He talks about it all the time. If he hears bacon, he wants it. So… my girls and I decided that we wanted to have a surprise party for him AND make it a bacon party. So… the next few days, I’ll be sharing all of the recipes that we used, because they were ALL a hit! I mean, everyone raved about these recipes! The first recipe I want to share with you is the bacon wrapped corn on the cob. We used fresh corn, that we recently removed the husks from.Print
Bacon Wrapped Corn on the Cob on the Grill
Try this delicious Bacon Wrapped Corn on the Cob -perfect for the grill!
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 20 minutes
- Total Time: 30 minutes
- Method: Grill
Here’s what you need:
- Corn on the cob
- Salt & Pepper to taste
1. Peel the husks off of the corn on the cob.
2. Wrap bacon around each piece of corn.
3. Place in foil.
4. Add Salt and Pepper
5. Close foil up, leaving little handles on the end for easy turning.
6. Grill on the grill for about 20 minutes, being sure to turn it 1/4 turn every 5 minutes.
Be careful not to leave it on each side for too long, otherwise it will burn! (We had several black pieces, thanks to this!). It can be tedious getting them turned often enough, but….well worth it to get the bacon crispy around the corn but the corn not overcooked.
