Three years ago today, I gave birth to my little girl who we lovingly nicknamed Bugsy. I’m sure you think that’s a strange nickname, but…..her eyes, they kind of just opened up and opened up wide. It was rather comical, how we’d be out and about and people would be taken aback by how wide open her eyes were. So…..she got the name Bugsy……after the guinea pig on the movie Bedtime Stories (who had very obviously animated bug eyes). Here she is in pictures….
You can see a bit of her bugsy eyes here! |
And here as well |
But as you can see, she grew into those big blue eyes! She was 1 year old in this picture. |
1.5 years old |
She still sometimes has her little fits…that come with being a little kid…..
But overall, she’s a happy go lucky, now 3 year old! She’s full of spunk and keeps us laughing with her thoughts on life. She’s pretty shy when we’re out in public and would prefer to stay right beside mom. She loves being both a big sister AND a little sister and doesn’t want anyone accusing her of growing up. She’s been known to steal candy and would prefer to eat candy instead of her supper. She is stubborn and yet tender hearted. She brings lots of joy to her family and we love you very much Little Miss Bugsy!
I can’t believe that it’s already been 3 years! We are planning a family birthday party full of cousins, siblings, mommy, daddy, aunt and grandparents. We will be making a poodle cake and eating spaghetti for dinner.
