My name is Sarah and I’m a Crockpot Addict. (I bet you knew that already though, right?) The truth is, I really don’t enjoy cooking. I mean, if I had nothing else to do all day, I don’t think I’d mind it so much, but cooking makes such a mess and dirties soooo many dishes. I think our family of 8 could fill the dishwasher 3 times a day. Sometimes I’m stunned by how often the kids get hungry, lol.
I used to love the idea of buying a cr0ckpot ready meal at the grocery store, but it was always so expensive compared to the amount of food you get. Our family of 8 would need 3 of those little puny bags they sell. Not to mention, the taste wasn’t always that great either. A couple of years ago, I ran across the idea of freezing meals for your slow cooker and I was hooked!
Why I Love Using Crockpot Freezer Meals
- I would no longer have to slave away in the kitchen at the last possible hour (since I procrastinate even on making dinner!).
- Our family could eat really good food that didn’t taste like it came from a bag, even though it did.
- I could prepare all of my suppers for the whole week at one time, in 1-2 hours at most.
- When life is busy, I’d still know what’s for dinner!
- I would feel less stressed.
- I’d have more time to spend with my kids or doing other things that I love.
Since I’ve been cooking this way, I’ve been compiling recipes, shopping lists and assembly instructions for you! It makes it so much easier to just print and go. Many of you, my subscribers, have already been enjoying these recipes, but if you haven’t tried them yet, let me point you in the right direction!
