Slow Cooker Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallows

- 4-5 lb. sweet potatoes
- 1 bag of mini marshmallows
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Peel & chop sweet potatoes and toss them into the crockpot.
Add 1 1/2 cups water.
Cook on low 6-7 hours or high 3-4 hours.
Drain the potatoes and return to the crockpot.
Mash, and stir in remaining ingredients, minus marshmallows.
Smooth the top of the potatoes and layer on bag of mini marshmallows.
Cook 10-15 minutes more on high until marshmallows are melted.
