Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 10 oz can diced tomatoes and green chilies*
  • 2 27 oz Cans of Bush's pinto beans
  • 1 envelope of Taco Seasoning one that seasons 2 pounds of meat
  • 1 t. garlic powder
  • 1 T. chili powder

Instructions

  • Brown hamburger meat
  • Chop onion
  • Mix together all ingredients in slow cooker.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Freezer to Slow Cooker Instructions:

  • Mix together all ingredients in gallon size freezer safe bag.
  • Label bag & lay flat to freeze.
  • When you're ready to cook, place defrosted contents of bag into slow cooker.
  • Cook on low 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

Notes

*Diced tomatoes with green chilies will add a small amount of heat that some kids won't be able to tolerate.  If you're concerned about this, switch with regular diced tomatoes.
