Instant Pot Roast Beef Recipe
Instant Pot Roast Beef is the perfect family meal. It’s delicious, savory, and comes together quickly!
- 1 3 lb beef chuck roast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 32 oz beef broth
- 3 pounds potatoes quartered
- 2 pounds baby carrots
Mix together salt, pepper, minced garlic and onion powder. Sprinkle over the top of the roast.
Place roast in Instant Pot and pour beef broth in around it.
Close lid and valve.
Cook on Manual/Pressure Cook, high pressure for 25 minutes. Natural release for 10 minutes, then quick release the pressure.
Wash and peel potatoes. Add potatoes & carrots.
Close lid and valve. Cook on Manual/Pressure Cook, high pressure for 20 more minutes. Natural release for 10 minutes
(Total cook time before releasing any pressure should be 15 minutes per pound for the meat)
Naturally release the pressure for 10-20 minutes, then quick release the remaining pressure.
Serve the delicious roast beef.
