Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars with M&M’S® Chocolate Candies
Chocolate Chip M&M's® Cookie Bars are an exceptional treat! Our family enjoyed making these as a surprise to honor some Veteran friends of ours. We love that M&M's® come in red, white and blue colors so that we can get a little more festive, when we want to!
Servings: 16 squares
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated ugar
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 1/2 cups M&M's Milk Chocolate Red, White & Blue Candies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract. Beat until creamy. Stir in eggs.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture and stir to combine.
Stir in chocolate chips and M&M's Milk Chocolate Red, White & Blue Candies.
Spread into greased 9x13 sized cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Your cookie bars should be golden brown and when you stick a fork or knife in, it should come out clean.
