- 1 4 lb beef brisket
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Honey BBQ Sauce
- ½ cup ketchup
- ½ cup molasses
- 4 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp cold water
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- Non-stick cooking spray
Whisk together all ingredients for BBQ sauce
Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray & place brisket in
Rub seasonings over brisket & pour sauce over it
Cook on low 10 hours
Remove roast
Pour liquid into pan & bring to boil over medium heat
Stir cornstarch & water together until dissolved & add to sauce, cook on low until thickened
Shred or slice beef & serve with sauce
Freezer Bag Instructions
Mix together garlic powder, chili powder, salt & pepper.
Rub brisket with spices.
Place brisket in gallon size freezer safe bag.
Mix together Honey BBQ sauce ingredients and add to the bag, coating the brisket.
Label & lay bag flat in freezer
Get bag out of freezer the night before you plan to cook it
Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray
Place contents of bag into slow cooker
Cook on low 10 hours.
Remove Brisket.
Pour liquid into pan & bring to boil over medium heat
Stir cornstarch & water together until dissolved & add to sauce, cook on low until thickened
Shred or slice beef & serve with sauce
