Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 4 15 oz cans diced tomatoes
  • 4 8 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 2 6 oz cans tomato paste
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 4 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 1 Tbsp onion flakes
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Spaghetti noodles

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef & drain
  • Combine all ingredients except pasta in slow cooker
  • Cook on low 8 hours, removing lid for last 2 hours to thicken sauce
  • Cook pasta according to package directions
  • Serve sauce over cooked pasta

Freezer Bag Instructions:

  • Brown ground beef & drain
  • Combine all ingredients except pasta in gallon size freezer safe bag
  • Label and lay flat to freeze.
  • Remove from freezer the night before cooking
  • Place contents of bag into slow cooker.
  • Cook on low 8 hours removing lid for last 2 hours to thicken sauce
  • Cook pasta according to package directions
  • Serve sauce over cooked pasta
