Slow Cooker Cowboy Supper
Don't let the name Cowboy Supper scare you off. It's a great dish, made with many American favorites, like corn, ground beef, potatoes, and beans. Mix 'em all together and you've got a great dish. Serve it with some cornbread and you'll feel you stopped by grandma's house for a delicious supper!

- 2 lbs ground beef
- 5 potatoes
- 1 onion
- 3 tsp minced garlic
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 15 oz can chili beans
- 1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 15 oz can corn
- 1 ⁄4 cup water
- 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
Brown ground beef, drain
While beef is cooking; dice 5 potatoes and 1 onion
Place potatoes, salt & pepper into slow cooker
Add ground beef, onions & garlic
Add tomatoes, chili beans, corn & water
Cover & cook on low 6-8 hours
Add shredded cheese, cook 15 min
Freezer Bag Instructions:
Brown ground beef, drain
While beef is cooking, dice 1 onion
Place all ingredients except potatoes into gallon size freezer safe bag
Label & lay bag flat to freeze
Remove from freezer the night before you plan to use it
Place contents of bag into slow cooker
Dice 5 potatoes and add to slow cooker
Cook on low 6-8 hours
Add shredded cheese, cook 15 min
