Ingredients

  • 4-5  chicken breasts
  • medium onion
  • 2 10.75 oz  cans of cream of chicken soup
  • cups  chicken broth
  • 1/2  teaspoon  black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • cups  frozen peas & carrots
  • 24  oz  frozen egg noodles  we used Reames

Instructions

  • Dice onion.
  • Add chicken, onion, chicken broth, pepper, thyme and cream of chicken soup to slow cooker.
  • Cook on low 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  • Remove chicken and shred.
  • Add frozen noodles and frozen peas & carrots.
  • Cook another hour on low until noodles have reached the right consistency.
  • Serve in bowls. We like to eat ours over mashed potatoes.
