Grandma's Crock Pot Chicken & Noodles

- 4-5 chicken breasts
- 1 medium onion
- 2 10.75 oz cans of cream of chicken soup
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 2 cups frozen peas & carrots
- 24 oz frozen egg noodles we used Reames
Dice onion.
Add chicken, onion, chicken broth, pepper, thyme and cream of chicken soup to slow cooker.
Cook on low 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
Remove chicken and shred.
Add frozen noodles and frozen peas & carrots.
Cook another hour on low until noodles have reached the right consistency.
Serve in bowls. We like to eat ours over mashed potatoes.
