Cheesy Slow Cooker Sausage & Potatoes

Cheesy Slow Cooker Sausage & Potatoes is an incredibly simple dish to put together, and it packs a wonderful taste.  Similar to scalloped potatoes, we've added a tasty addition of Eckrich Smoked Sausage to make it a complete main dish, not just a side.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Eckrich Original Skinless Smoked Sausage sliced
  • 8 medium potatoes sliced
  • 1 to 2 cups colby jack cheese shredded
  • 1 large can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Slice smoked sausage into coins.
  • Slice potatoes into thin to medium slices, similar to scalloped potatoes.
  • Mix together garlic powder, onion powder and basil.
  • Mix together cream of mushroom soup and one cup of milk.
  • Place sausages in bottom of the slow cooker, followed by potatoes.
  • Sprinkle seasonings generously over the top of the potatoes.
  • Sprinkle half of cheese over the top of that.
  • Evenly pour soup mixture on top of everything.
  • Sprinkle remaining cheese on last and close the lid.
  • Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
