  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup chunky salsa
  • 1 package taco seasoning 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese


  • Mix all ingredients together, except cheese
  • Press half of the meat mixture into a loaf.
  • Cover with half of the cheese and press the remaining meat mixture over it.
  • Place in a freezer safe gallon bag.
  • Label & lay flat to freeze
  • Remove from freezer the night before cooking
  • The morning of cooking place contents of bag into slow cooker
  • Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
