Instant Pot Honey Garlic Chicken Sliders

These Instant Pot Honey Garlic Chicken Sliders are a great meal to share with friends!  They're simple and delicious!  Cook them for 30-40 minutes in the Instant Pot, shred and then serve on slider buns!  YUM!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 onion
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce*
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 3 tsp minced garlic
  • Slider buns

Instructions

  • Dice onion
  • Place all ingredients, except buns into Instant Pot
  • Cook on Manual, 40 Minutes, high pressure (if chicken is frozen) OR 30 minutes if thawed.
  • Shred chicken, Stir in a couple of spoonfuls of liquid from the Instant Pot.
  • Serve on buns

Freezer Bag Instructions:

  • Dice onion
  • Place all ingredients into gallon size freezer safe bag
  • Label & lay bag flat to freeze
  • Remove from freezer the night before you plan to use it
  • Cook on Manual, 40 minutes (if chicken is frozen) and 30 minutes if it's not.
  • Shred Chicken.
  • Stir in a couple of spoonfuls of liquid from the Instant Pot.
  • Serve on Buns

Slow Cooker Instructions:

  • Place all ingredients (except buns) into slow cooker
  • Cook on LOW 4-5 hours
  • Shred chicken
  • Serve on buns

Notes

*sub with chili sauce if you can't find Thai
Side suggestions: French fries, steamed broccoli with cheese
