Who doesn’t love an easy meal in this busy season of life? The end of the school year and the beginning of summer break can be so chaotic. You have end of school activities and sports starting up. It’s fun, but we’re definitely on the run more! Those busy days are the ones that I enjoy having quick easy meals on hand. Easy meals like Tyson Panko Chicken Nuggets. I was so excited to find them at my local Sam’s Club! They were right on the end of the aisle of the freezer section!
Not only do we love having quick easy meals, but we also love using dipping sauces. I found these 3 very easy to make dipping sauces. They take only about 5 minutes to whip up and they sure make for some happy kids. Why do kids like dipping so much?! What am I saying? Even I like dipping my food!
The 3 recipes we created this time are:
- BBQ Dipping Sauce
- Ranch Dipping Sauce
- Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
BBQ Dipping Sauce
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cider vinegar
- ½ tsp yellow mustard
- ½ tsp Dijon mustard
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp steak sauce
Mix all ingredients together well. If this is the only sauce you’re planning, you may want to double the recipe.
Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
My kids have always loved Arby’s Honey Mustard sauce and they said this one tastes just like it. They said THIS one was their favorite out of the three.
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
Mix all ingredients together.
Ranch Dipping Sauce
This one was a little thick for dipping sauce, but you could thin it out with milk if you wanted it less thick. Or you could replace the sour cream with plain yogurt.
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp ranch dressing mix
- 1 tbsp dried parsley (or fresh if you have it)
Mix all ingredients together. Refrigerate for a few hours for better results.
We really loved all 3 different dipping sauces, but what made them, was combining them with the Tyson Panko Chicken Nuggets. I must admit, normally I’m not a chicken nugget fan, but these are definitely an exception. They’re all white meat! Plus, there’s no fillers, hormones or steroids in the meat! You can find them in the freezer section at Sam’s Club (as shown below) in a 5 pound bag. A perfect size so that we don’t run out too quickly!
