This is by far a favorite sandwich of mine, so when I discovered that I could cook it in the crockpot, I was thrilled!

is the beef raw or cooked at the time of freezing please? I use my crockpot all the time as a homeschooling mama of 8 – always on the lookout for new ewcipes, yours are fanstastic, thanks for sharing 😀

It's raw. I cooked this one earlier in the week so that I didn't have to worry about putting it in the freezer when I got home. I think I still need to add the scrumptious picture to this one. It was a big favorite at our house!

You are a life saver. I can't wait to start cooking this way. I have looked and I might be over looking it, but this recipe do you have it included in a shopping list? I have to know exactly what I need or I will forget. Again, thank you for this website. <3 it
Sidetracked Sarah says
Yes, I do, it's included in the Week 6 shopping list. The link is: https://www.sidetrackedsarah.com/2013/01/6-meals-o…
I hope you enjoy! You're so very welcome. Let me know if you have any suggestions. I'd love to continue improving this experience for all of us!

I know the theory says the alcohol cooks off, but I still seem to taste it! My family all think I'm crazy! So, I was wondering if an awesome cook like you would know what to substitute that ingredient for, please.
Sidetracked Sarah says
OH, yeah, I understand, if you don't like it, you don't like it. 🙂 So do you think that other sauce that I mentioned would work? I've never tasted it and have never substituted for it, but sounds like it would be good.

I love you recipies, thank you for sharing 🙂 But, on this one, what could you substitute the white wine with? Thanks, Suzanne
Sidetracked Sarah says
Another recipe I read calls for "Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce". I use the white cooking wine that you buy in the vinegar section. All alcohol content cooks off. Out of curiosity, why is it that you don't want to use the white wine?
