You’ve been asking for it and it is now, finally here!  This week’s menu is maybe even one of my simplest yet.  I don’t know if you’ll throw rocks at me or love me!  Either way, I’m going to share it because it’s so easy and will save you some serious time.  The only problem with this menu is that you have to peel potatoes for 2 of the meals.

This is one of those meals that is so cheap to make, why not have it every week?  I used to think I didn’t like it as a child, but now, as an adult, it pleases me to realize how I can have a good hearty meal that does not have to eat all the money up and yet tastes delicious!  I do not presoak the beans.  That is one

My 12 year old’s favorite meal is potato soup!  I grew up not liking it very much.  That is, until I added cheese to it.  Then, it was suddenly delicious.  Everything’s better with cheese, right? Slow Cooker Potato Soup 3 1/2 cups peeled and diced potatoes 1/3 cup diced celery (optional, we always leave it out) 1/3 cup finely chopped onion 3/4 cup diced cooked ham 3 1/4 cups water

Have you all seen all of the things you can make out of pallets?  I keep seeing these things out in cyberland and now, every time I drive by a business, I find myself looking to see if they have any pallets or not.  I don’t know why I’m looking though because I think I’m too scared to ask if I can have them!  Maybe one of these days, I’ll

Happy Valentine’s Day to you!  I hope you’ve enjoyed the e-book that I was able to put together for Valentine’s day ideas.  There were some adorable ideas in it from several different blogs! Today, I’m sharing a tutorial!  The other day when we went to our Bright Lights girls club, my friend Holly was there to help the girls make their names out of wire.  Thankfully, my friends are getting

(This post contains affiliate links) BRRR, It got cold again here in Kansas!  It may even snow tonight!  The weather has been hovering near the 50’s, sometimes higher, for most of the winter.  Because of this, we have not gotten very sick this year!  We had our first “bug” last week and thankfully, it was relatively easy, considering how hard some winter time illnesses can be. However, I keep hearing

I’m always on the lookout for new ways to keep my soon-to-be 3-year-old busy while the rest of us are doing school.  Otherwise, her many needs turn into interruptions and make it hard for us to get done all that we need to do in school.  I don’t want her growing up thinking she’s just a “need” to be met.   I want her to feel important, too.  I’ve decided to

(This post contains affiliate links) As many of you know, we homeschool our children.  One of the many reasons we choose to go this route in their formal education is so that we can direct their spiritual learning and disciplines.  We want them to be able to learn about Christ, all throughout their school day and we want Him intertwined in the different school subjects that they’re learning about. One

This is a really simple Valentine card that we made several years ago. My 12 year old daughter decided she didn’t want to give store bought Valentine’s away this year, so she made these up for her friends again.  It’s been several years since we made them, so I’m sure they don’t even remember them! Here’s what you need: Construction paper hearts, folded in half Construction paper cut as mouse

It’s Monday again.  Yes….Monday, the day we talk about motivation to get healthier!  I have decided to discontinue the linky part of Get Motivated Mondays, but I’ll probably continue to write about getting healthy, so long as I can think up new things to write about!  Even though I’m not providing the linky party, feel free to share anything you want to in the comments below. Thank you so much! As a special needs mommy these recipes have helped us so much.   I often am very busy with being a nurse for our child that I don't have time for making sure we get meals.  This allows me to do all my prep on the weekends, while my husband is home to help, and to cook during the week.  So grateful!

Sarah’s Freezer to Slow Cooker ebooks have been a fantastic addition to my meal plans.  They make meal planning easy and my family happy. I love the way each recipe is laid out, with a shopping list and ingredient prep list, along with cooking instructions. Sarah’s done all the hard work for me!  The recipes have used have all been delicious and easily adaptable to my family’s taste and the number of people I’m serving.

I purchased all of your freezer to slow cooker ebooks a month or so ago and I'm in love with this way of cooking.  I now have taken all 10 weeks of recipes and written them of my menu planner and then I repeated the 10 weeks and will continue to do so throughout the year.  My family of 5 adults and 1 child enjoy the meals that you have planned and I have cooked and I'm excited that the next time when that meal comes due up in the rotation I won't have to purchase anything but just pull it from the freezer.  Thank you so much

This makes my life so much easier. I'm a busy work at home/stay at home mom, wife, business woman and I feel like dinner is always the thing I just never get time to do. We have done like 15 of the crockpot recipes from Sarah and they are all very yummy. They get a thumbs up from my husband and kids every time. And there is always enough for my husband to take the left overs at least 2x per recipe. I have a family of 5, 2 adults, 21, 13, 16. So it makes plenty. Thank you Sarah.

I am a 59-year-old wife and mother of two grown children.  I love your idea of fixing a lot of meals ahead of time and then pulling one out, put it in the crockpot, and you have dinner when you get home.  I hate feeling rushed when I cook so Monday - Friday I use those crockpot meals and make enough that we have lunch the next day.  I take Sunday afternoon, fix up what I need for the week (I don't have a lot of freezer space so I do a week's worth at a time) and I'm done with it!  Saturdays I like to try new recipes from some of my cookbooks which I am finding I can freeze as well!  So you have shown me a whole new way to organize my time and still put a healthy meal on the table.  Thanks so much and I look forward to future blogs.
