Hello! I’m Sarah, the cheap frugal mother of 6 beautiful children, the youngest of whom is 3 months old and needing his mommy’s attention A LOT! I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for 15 years and we like to do as many projects as possible…. TOGETHER. I homeschool the children old enough to be in school and when I’m not doing that, I find myself getting seriously sidetracked! I have a lot of interests and wanna-be hobbies. My intent, by starting this blog is to share what I’m learning as well as some things I’ve known for a long time. Some of the topics I plan to share about are things I need to perfect, such as losing weight, exercise and getting organized while streamlining my life. Others are things we’ve already experienced, such as house remodeling and DIY projects. We are currently converting a 2 car garage to 2 bedrooms and a laundry room. This will change our home from a 3 bedroom to a 5 bedroom. I’ll share more about that soon. My husband [a.k.a. Mr. Sidetracked] has been struggling through something he’s never tried before, replacing the cables and springs to our pop up camper. That’s been quite the challenge! We are also working on repainting an old dresser and bookshelf using what seems to be many, many coats of paint. They’re going to look awesome when they’re done! AND, to top it all off, I’m about to try implementing a diet and exercise program because I’m sick and tired of looking fat and frumpy. I will share with you about my awesome results as they happen!
Tell me, what keeps you sidetracked?

Just found your blog a week ago and I'm so glad! I really identify with a lot of your posts. Including the 3 month old who doesn't like to be put down. 🙂 I'm sure he's older now so I'm sure I'll get to read about how you got through that stage.

I'm so glad you found me Angelica! 🙂 Yes, now he's a spunky 18 month old who dumps everything out along the way. Wow…he's a busy guy. They do quit crying eventually.
