I simply love the crockpot! It is a super easy tool to use and a must have in every kitchen! It has saved my family’s belly many times. This crockpot brisket recipe is packed full of flavors and juices. It is a sure remedy to any hungry belly.
Crockpot Brisket
Ingredients
- 1 - 5-6 lb brisket I used 2 3lb briskets
- 1 c. chili sauce
- 1 c. grape jelly or Hawaiian sweet and sour sauce
- 1 package of onion soup mix
Instructions
- Turn on your crockpot to low setting.
- Take the brisket out of the package and put it in the crockpot.
- Mix the chili sauce, grape jelly or hawaiian sauce and onion soup together in a bowl.
- Spread over the brisket in the crockpot.
- Make sure to cover all of the brisket with the mixture.
- Cook on low for 6 hours.
- When the brisket is finished, take from the crockpot and slice.
- Pour the gravy from the crockpot over the brisket and serve.
