I originally posted this in April, but I felt with apple season coming up, it was appropriate! For those of you getting this in an email, your free ebook link will be at the end of this post, in text format.
As you know, my daughter has been having issues with migraines. I’m slowly beginning to adjust her diet by giving her foods that are less processed. That’s a hard one though because, she is my one child who like’s the processed foods the most. So….instead of buying the junk, I’m trying to get a little more creative with it.
Here’s one snack plate I made for our kids this week. They thought it was fun.
Here’s what I used:
Orange segments for the ground
2 bananas for the trunk of the tree.
lettuce for the leaves.
1 cut up a frozen strawberry for the apples
And now you’re wondering….what will they do with the lettuce? If they won’t eat it plain (mine won’t), I suggest serving some dressing or something on the side for them to dip it into. Enjoy!
