Today is day 3 of my series:

Day 2: 4th of July Drinks for Kids & Adults Alike
We love fruit in our home! Being that I’m on a special eating program in order to lose weight, we’ve had an abundance of it in the home. I’m trying to replace much of that processed sugar for more natural options! Don’t worry though, I’m not overdoing it. I realize that the sugar in the fruit can convert to fat if I eat too much of it.
Since I started my new diet, my son has actually lost 10 pounds, without even trying! A shirt he was given for Christmas and was too small for him, actually fits him now. Go figure. I’ve not lost any sizes, but I’ve lost a lot of inches, so that’s good! I just cram all my inches into the same pair of pants. Oh well. I’ll go down a size eventually!
Since we’re in the middle of our Red, White & Blue series, we thought it would be fun to make an American Flag out of fruit. It was super easy!
All you do is use blueberries for the blue. Then make red and white stripes out of bananas and strawberries.
Remember those layered drinks from yesterday? Those were our drinks with this snack. I took a table outside and we had a picnic snack! They gobbled it all up!
Here’s our final results:
American Flag Fruit Plate
