Do You Use Lists to Plan Your Life?
I’m normally not a list person! I remember, as a child, my mom made lists for us to clean the house. That list always seemed soooo long! As a mom of 6 children, I completely understand the need for lists to keep us focused. I’m sure that you do, too! It took me years to be able to use them though, because I always felt that the end of the list was unattainable. Now, my children actually ask me to make lists for them so that they know there is an end in sight. Otherwise, I may just keep piling the jobs on them and they’ll think that they have to work all the days of their lives. It’s funny how the list made me feel like there was no end in sight, but the list helps them to know there is an end in sight.
I am now a firm believer in list making. I keep a list of blogging activities I need to accomplish, lists of Christmas gifts to purchase throughout the year, shopping lists, meal planning lists, etc. We even have a dry erase board on our mantle where we can make big lists for the family to see. With so many people in the family, I’d be lost without making a list! I’m way too forgetful!
I have a problem though. My lists are usually messy! I do, sometimes make an orderly and slightly pretty one in MS Word….but generally, my lists are scribbled up messes! I guess that tells how I function and why I’m trying to get organized, doesn’t it? :)

How Do I Use List PlanIt?
I was so excited to be able to review this product because I knew that I could use it in my series that is coming up next week called 5 Day of Organizing & Cleaning. It starts on Monday, August 20th. (I hope you’ll join us!)
My topic?
Organizing & Cleaning my Kitchen. My kitchen has been in need of some serious attention!
Here are some of the forms that I am utilizing or planning to utilize in my organizing week:
- Refrigerator Inventory
- Freezer Inventory
- Pantry Inventory
I really need to get a handle on what food I have in my refrigerator, pantry and freezer. I’m hoping to find a bunch of free meals by using up all the food I haven’t touched in too long!
In addition, I also plan to use the Meal Planners & Grocery lists to start planning my next week of Freezer to Slow Cooker meals.
I hope to eventually start a Home Management Binder, where I can have a go-to book where I keep all the information pertaining to my calendar, cleaning schedule, menus, shopping lists, kids, etc.
List PlanIt just recently added Homeschool planning forms to their many awesome lists OR you can buy the ePlanner separately for only $5. I’m sure I’ll refer to the forms in this section often as I go about planning my school year.
As you can see, the lists that they provide are all inclusive. Should you find yourself in an organizing quandary, List PlanIt will be sure to help you out!
Buy It!

I think I need a list to keep track of what I’ve signed up for. I know I had looked at your rsvp form, but can’t remember if I actually sent it! Is there a way for me to find out?
Thank you for sharing this giveaway! I am a total list person, and will be getting this either way. God bless!
I'm a list person. I have so much on my mind that making lists helps clear it. I, too, have a messy list. It's like chicken scratch. But if I were to type it out, that is one more thing for me to do. List Planit sounds interesting, but again, signing up, learning how to use it is another thing for me to do (or add to my list). But if it's free, then it may be worth a try. Thanks for the offer.
Yes, I completely understand. Sometimes, a messy list is the way to go, too. It all depends. I'm meaning for general organization, if it's a list I'm going to leave up, posted somewhere or in a binder or something like that….I want it to look a little nicer. If I look at it for more than a day or so.
Good luck with winning! I have had all kinds of fun with List PlanIt.
