I had high expectations of putting together a Mother’s Day craft e-book for you and releasing it this week, but that just did not happen. We did, however, get a few crafts done because of it, so I guess now I’ve got some fun stuff to share with you.
Blooming Branch Framed Picture
Supplies:
- Light Colored Construction Paper
- Brown Construction Paper
- Pink tissue paper for blossoms
- 5×7 Picture Frame
- Glue
Directions:
First, Cut your light colored construction paper down to the size of the picture frame.
Next, cut a twig shape out of the brown construction paper and glue it to the light colored construction paper. We did this in several pieces….not all one piece. Thankfully, no two sticks are the same, so it doesn’t have to be perfect!
Then, take your pink tissue paper and cut it into 1 inch squares. Wad up the squares and glue them in little balls on your branches.
Once they’re all glued on, add words to it. My daughter added the words Love in her cursive handwriting because it was a personal gift that she wanted her own handwriting on. You could easily use a stamp or print on it before cutting your paper down. Finally, put it into your picture frame. We embelished this as a gift, so we added some ribbon to it.
That’s it. Super easy. Super Cute!
